The working life!~ First of all, I would like to thank all the readers of this blog for being with me for like 3 years already (clap, clap). From me being a student to now, a working girl, it is not only my products that you have been watching but also my life and the way I write. You know that my passion is to write however, it was only recently that I discovered it. Hey! that is why this blog’s name is “Late Bloom Passion”. Haha, anyway, I notice that I haven’t reviewed anything in two months. Well, pardon because I had no idea that working life is crazy! Haha, but anyway, at least I can sustain my own luxuries without really bothering my parents about it.

Now, I am going to review an amazing yet intriguing product from Nature Republic. Apparently. it has the name “Bee Venom” toner. Honestly, when I hear the word “venom” what comes in my mind is poison and deadly. But the truth is, bee venom (and snake venom as well) has some health benefits when science make the most out of it.

Bee venom are known to relieve redness. From this, we can deduce that this toner is perfect for those acne prone skin/sensitive skin. This is the reason why I grabbed the product immediately. And oh, it was also the most affordable Korean-branded bee venom product available here in the Philippines (as far as I know) compared to Tonymoly’s bee venom range of products.

On to the product. The consistency of the liquid it thick, making it a moisturizer also if you are in a tight budget like me. The scent is well, seems familiar to me because it smells like this mosquito bite lotion that my mom used to apply in my skin when I was little but it is kind of nice.

As for the effects, IT DOES REDUCE REDNESS (hooray!). But, I have to admit that it make my skin oily. Well, not in a bad sense, maybe it has only add glow in my skin. However, those who already had oily skin might not consider this product because after all, those who are suffering from redness are usually those who has dry skin.

Hair like Kpop idols! ~~ Woot! I have been interested with female idol these past few days. I have been watching music videos, variety shows, live performances and interviews of the group… SNSD (Girls’ Generation). Yes, I am drowned by the beat of their music and then, I came to like them.

Believe me or not, idolizing a girl group brings a lot of self-realization but in a good way. I have been in a diet for months and lose a lot weight just because I am aiming to have a figure like SNSD. But wait! I am doing it in a healthy way ok? not like those what we read about extreme diets that Korean stars usually do. Anyway, since I am talking about living their lifestyle in a good ways, might as well follow their skin care/ body care regimen.

Female Kpop idols are notorious for having a frequent chance in their hairstyle, haircut and hair color. These are the perfect ways to damage your hair. But how come their hair seems lovely despite of those crazy chemicals? The answer in on their hair care.

I have said before that I am a fan of anything that damages the hair. Well, I am trying to revive and strengthen my hair before I color it again maybe after my graduation from college this March 2015. With that, I am taking hair care packs seriously. This time, I am using this product from Nature Republic, the Argan Essential Deep Hair Care Pack.

The texture of the product is creamy, making it a good conditioner if you want to apply it during your shower time. But as for me, I apply it on a wet hair, wait for hours and then take my shower. Rinse it as usual, shampoo and then apply my conditioner. I honestly feel that this is the best way to maximize your money over this product.

As for the results, I can say that it is an average one. Although Argan Oil is one of the most recommended natural oils for hair along with Jojoba Oil, I still feel that a pure Argan Oil would be much better and more effective in repairing and nourishing the hair. But all in all, with the size of 200 ml, I was able to use this product for a month and a half because of its rich texture. Take note that I am using this twice a week.

Clear it!~ Having dark spots on the face is one of the biggest annoyance not only for us ladies but also for men. According to my dermatologist, having dark spots is caused by hyper-pigmentation of the skin. Apparently, not all skin types are subjected to having hyper-pigmentation. For example, my sister is prone of having spots because her skin is a kind of skin that has hyper-pigmentation when irritated while my skin, luckily, is not prone of having hyper skin pigmentation.

To those who has this kind of skin, is there a way on how they can get rid of stubborn dark spots? Well, Nature Republic has an answer for that and that is with the help of their Hawaiian Fresh Line, particularly, the Hawaiian Fresh Clear Spot Solution. The whole line ranges from facial wash to toners to creams and this one. It is probably one of the  most affordable Korean branded spot solution available in the Philippine market.

Let us start the review with the packaging of the product:

* Has a cute, summer-vibe packaging

* Greatly sealed and very presentable

Reviewing the fluid content:

* Has a refreshing scent

* Has a clear appearance and smooth consistency. It also dries fast on the skin.

Overall, the product shows a potential for a spot solution. I’ve seen an improvement on some of my dark spots after finishing a whole 10ml tube. But remember, my dark spots are only mild. I just don’t know if the same improvement will be seen for those who has severe cases.

I am not ALOEne~~ It’s been a while since I had a skincare product review. And, it’s been a while also since I had a product review from Nature Republic. With this, I will give verdict to the best seller product of Nature Republic, the (Soothing and Moisture) Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel. I was surprised to see that there is a lid separator upon opening the product though it will become invisible once you are really using the product. Haha, users of this product can relate to what I am saying.

This product is maybe the most promising Korean Skincare product that is available in the Philippine market. Wanna know why? I know this is a bit overrated as you can see this information picture in every blog that reviews the same product or in any website that sells Korean cosmetics, but for the sake of those who are new with this one and for the sake of informative blogging. Friends, these are the uses of (Soothing and Moisture) Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel:

I have used this products in four ways only. I know, I am not maximizing its use but we do all do have a unique preferences right? Besides one of those four ways didn’t seemed to work out.

1. I have used it as a facial moisturizer- OMG! What can I say, this is a very good moisturizer. It calms and even subsides my newly popped pimples and when I woke up in the morning, my skin is so dewy that I wish not to take a bath because my dream dewy-Korean skin will fade with the running waters. Just kidding! Haha, although I wish that by consistent usage of this one, I will achieve my dream skin that cannot be erased by just mere water of facial washes.

2. I have used it as a make-up base- If you want a dewy and more natural look, try using this as a make-up base. Honestly, I am not fond of putting moisturizers before applying make-up. A toner is enough for me for skin preparation but this one is different. It glides smoothly on the skin and my skin absorbs it faster. Once I put it under my BB Cream, I can have this healthy look all day.

3. I have used it as a substitute for body lotion- I think I have mentioned it before that I do not like body lotions that is why I am investing on good body washes. This one is different. If other lotions will give you that eeky feeling especially when you sweat, not this one. Because it is a gel, and therefore has a gel consistency, it dries easily and moisturizes easily. I even when I go out under the angry sun this summer, I feel fresh and not sticky at all. Promise!

4. I tried to use it as a hair treatment- I am a fan of hair dyes and I guilty about it. Everything that makes the hair weaker, is my hobby (which I will tell in my next review, so watch out for it). With this, I have to accept that my haircare regimen  will change. And so, after trying countless of DIY hair treatments, I decided to try the power of aloe since I am impressed on how I used it in my face and in my body. The Nature Republic in SM North EDSA told me that I can use this on a wet or dry hair.

After showering, I applied it ALL OVER my hair and then I noticed, as my hair is drying, it feels weird. Something like a texture of a lifeless hair, very squeeky. I panicked, WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO MY HAIIIIIRRRRRR!! And then I washed my hair again, it went back to normal. I guess not all hair types can absorb this gel. So when you are planning to try this on your hair, apply a little portion of it in the tips and see if you can use it all the way. Do not be like me, careless as ever.
