Ayo!~~ Since this product is very cute and has a lot of concepts to review, I will divide my review post for this one into various points that is needed to be discussed. And take note, this review will contain a slight number of pictures than my previous review posts. So, let’s start.

I was quite sometime since I had a review on a Korean-branded face powder. As you know, face powder are important to set our B.B. Cream and concealer so that our look will be more natural. And because I had ran out of my previous face powder (Human Nature- a local brand), I decided to try Korean Branded face powder again although I love Human Nature’s face powder. After all, I am a Korean Cosmetics blogger.

After a long search (because I am coming to the mall unprepared) for an affordable Korean branded face powder, I come up with Etude House’s Secret Beam Powder Pact (in #1). As I’ve mentioned earlier, here in the Philippines, it only comes in one shade. I just don’t know if it has various shades in other countries. The shade is quite light so I think morena beauties might not consider this one.

Begin with conceptual reviews!

Packaging (Box)- The external packaging, I mean the box in which the product is placed has an elegant and girly design. It uses a mild violet color which is catchy at the same time being classy. Like any other Korean branded product, notes are written in Korean.

The Compact- Wow, just wow! I feel like I am a magical girl in a shoujo anime. Haha, if you know what I mean. The compact looks like it has a magical power that I can use to transform in a sailor outfit and defend the world againts evil. I mean, just look at the design of the compact, it has embossed curves which is very detailed and makes the product stand out from the rest. The price of the product is 578 pesos and I bet 70%-80% of its price goes for the design of the compact.

When you open the compact, a complete package will surprise you. Unlike other Korean branded face powder, this one has a complete element of a compact face powder. It has a mirror, a puff and a lid separator. But I prefer using brush when applying it.

The powder- Ok, now with the most important part. I will be straight to the point, the powder has glitters that is why is has the word “beam” in its name. So for those who are like my sister which hates powders with glitters, maybe this one is not for you. But as for me, I am ok with that because it seems that I have a powder and a highlighter in one.

The powder is not that lightweight. If you cannot approximate its application then you might look like a ghost even if naturally, you have a fair skin. It also has the tendency to cake depending on the weather/temperature. If you are a traveler or an outside person, I think you might just leave this behind. But if you are an office girl that stays in a freezing cold room then this will be perfect! It really last long though.
